Continuing Education

UAB Nurses are provided with many CEU offerings. The Alabama Board of Nursing requires that each professional nurse have a minimum of 24 continuing education hours every two years.

At UAB, our Registered Nurses are provided with many opportunities to obtain the required hours. CEU Opportunities Include:

• Unit based classes conducted by our unit Educator(s)
• In-service education
• Grand Rounds
• National education conferences held on site
• Specialty Seminars
