The Post Anesthesia Care, Pre-operative holding and Women’s Anesthesia Care unit(s) provides care for patients in the pre-operative and post-operative phase of the peri-operative period.

Nurse/Patient Ratio

• 1:3 Prep Holding
• 1:2 Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Rotation/Shifts

• 10a – 5:30p Monday through Friday
• Rotate to all five units every two weeks.

Skill Mix

• Registered Nurse
• Patient Care Technician

Nursing Unit Orientation

• 6 weeks
• ACLS certification
