  • Adult
  • Respiratory Failure
  • Liver Failure
  • Acute Renal Failure
  • Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage
  • Blood Disorders
  • Oncology Disorders

Number of Beds
  • 25

Nurse/Patient Ratio
  • 1:2 is the standard
  • 1:1 for extreme situations

Rotation/Shifts
  • 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
  • Weekend only option available

Skill Mix
  • Registered Nurse - 89%
  • Patient Care Technician - 11%
Nursing Unit Orientation
  • 12 weeks for new graduates
  • Duration varies for experienced RNs
